Abs May Be Made in the Kitchen, But Exercise Keeps You Young, Says Science

The participants were all qualifiers for the Senior Olympics and were at least 50 years old. They weren’t pro athletes by any means, but they do stick to frequent training plans. Researchers aren’t sure yet whether sport choice matters—say, if endurance racers are in the best shape—but they plan to study the stats more closely to find out.

It’s been said many times that “abs are made in the kitchen” and looking good is largely about what you eat. But according to this study, lacing up your sneaks and working up a sweat is the way to go if staying forever young is your goal (and why wouldn’t it be?!).
