According to Bachelor/Bachelorette history, Kaitlyn and Shawn have about a 14 percent chance at actually making it down the aisle. But if they do (and we hope they do!), here’s what the newly-engaged couple already has in mind for their nuptials—including timing, location, and whether Chris Harrison will be involved. Read on!
Sorry guys—it’s not happening anytime soon. “We just want to enjoy the moment right now,” Shawn told People. “We just want to hang out as a normal couple, do a little traveling, and then sit down and start making some plans.” So, when will those plans start? “We’ll start planning in a month or two once things settle down a bit,” he told E! Online.
Kaitlyn’s open to hometown nuptials. “I would get married [in Vancouver],” the Canada native said at a recent press conference.
But she’s also thinking about a destination wedding. “I always pictured myself having a destination wedding because I’m so low-maintenance,” Kaitlyn told People.
Shawn, on the other hand, favors Vegas. “I always pictured a wedding in Vegas at a little chapel,” he told People.
Don’t expect Kaitlyn to be a bridezilla. She’s about as laidback as they come in terms of wedding planning. “I don’t want to pick out flowers or colors, I just want to be like, ‘yes, no, yes, no,'” she told People.
And the big question, of course—will it be a Bachelorette televised event? “We would consider it,” Kaitlyn told Us Weekly. “It’s something we talked about for sure,” Shawn added.
